SDI Flight Systems is a developer of critical enabling technologies for Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

While traditional fixed-wing UAS have seen widespread success in practical applications, the daunting technical challenges facing VTOL systems have severely limited their success. Our technologies solve each of these problems, enabling a new generation of unmanned aircraft which offer new capabilities not found in any fixed-wing systems. The patent pending solutions developed by SDI Flight Systems can not only be produced at low-cost, but they are fully scalable and can be implemented in extraordinarily small packages. Thus complete, autonomous VTOL aircraft can weigh less than 1 pound or up to thousands of pounds depending on the application requirements.
